ATU Students Collect ADDY Awards

Nine Arkansas Tech University art students have been recognized by the Fort Smith chapter of the American Advertising Federation with 2017 student ADDY Awards.

According to the American Advertising Federation, the American Advertising (ADDY) Awards are the “advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, recognizing and rewarding creative excellence in the art of advertising.”

The honors were presented on Saturday, Feb. 18, at the Lions Club in Fort Smith.

ATU ADDY Award winners for 2017 are:

Aaron Gilkey
Lexie Wood

Silver
Brady Condren
Amanda McCormick

Bronze
Kimaly Ballard
Shara Smith
Deondra Swanigan (received two Bronze ADDYs)
Carlee Williams (received two Bronze ADDYs)
Colleen Wooten

As gold award winners, Gilkey and Wood will have their work advance for further award consideration in district judging.
