Arkansas Tech University student Danielle Duggan was crowned 2019 Miss Texarkana Twin Rivers during a Miss Arkansas Scholarship Competition preliminary at the Pleasant Grove High School Performing Arts Center in Texarkana, Texas, on Saturday, Aug. 25.
Duggan, 20, is from De Queen. As the 2019 Miss Texarkana Twin Rivers, she earns the opportunity to compete in Miss Arkansas 2019 next summer in Little Rock.
She sang “It Is Well” for her talent in Texarkana. “Spread the Love: Ending Food Insecurity” was her social impact issue.
Duggan, who placed in the top four at the 2018 Miss Arkansas Tech University competition, is a member of the ATU Presidential Leadership Cabinet.
