Arkansas Tech University will confer approximately 1,800 degrees and credentials upon graduates during spring 2025 commencement ceremonies May 9-10 at John E. Tucker Coliseum in Russellville.
The weekend will begin with a 7 p.m. ceremony on Friday, May 9. It will honor graduates from ATU-Ozark Campus and the ATU College of Business and Economic Development.
There will be three ceremonies on Saturday, May 10.
The ATU College of Arts and Humanities will conduct its commencement at 9:30 a.m. The ATU College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics will see its students walk at 2 p.m. The ATU College of Education and Health will close out ATU graduation weekend with a 6:30 p.m. ceremony.
The 9:30 a.m. ceremony on Saturday will include the induction of Dr. Robert Charles Brown, 11th president of Arkansas Tech, and Jill Lestage Brown, former ATU first lady, into the ATU Hall of Distinction under the Distinguished Service category.
Arkansas Tech will recognize its most outstanding seniors — Alfred J. Crabaugh Award winner Jae Thomas of Bryant, Margaret Young Award winner Elli White of Malvern and Jill Lestage Brown Service Leadership Award winner Kacie Gibbins of Vian, Okla. — during spring commencement.
Winners of the 2025 ATU Faculty Awards of Excellence for the Russellville campus will also be among those recognized during spring commencement ceremonies, as will the recipient of the 2025 Jim Ed McGee Award for outstanding graduate student and the winners of three staff awards for the Russellville campus.
ATU-Ozark Campus will recognize the 2025 winners of the Bob Adams Outstanding Student Award, the ATU-Ozark Spirit Award, the ATU-Ozark Faculty Awards of Excellence in teaching and service, the ATU-Ozark Staff Excellence Award and the ATU-Ozark Service Award during the ceremony on Friday.
