Meet the 2026 Paint the Town Green and Gold Entries

Representatives of Pediatrics Plus rolled out the green and gold carpet for Paint the Town Green and Gold Judges as part of the 2026 competition.

Thirty-two businesses and organizations have entered the 2026 Paint the Town Green and Gold community spirit contest presented by the Russellville Area Chamber of Commerce and Arkansas Tech University.

This is the 11th year for Paint the Town Green and Gold, a program that encourages local businesses and organizations to decorate the interior and/or exterior of their places of business in Arkansas Tech themes at the outset of the fall semester in order to welcome ATU students to the community and build school spirit.

The businesses and organizations participating in the 2026 Paint the Town Green and Gold competition are:

Prizes, including the Paint the Town Green and Gold traveling trophy, will be awarded during Arkansas Tech’s first football game of the season on Thursday, Sept. 3. The Wonder Boys will host Southwestern Oklahoma State University for a 7 p.m. Great American Conference contest at Simmons Bank Field at Thone Stadium.

All businesses and non-profit organizations that entered the 2026 Paint the Town Green and Gold community spirit contest will receive complimentary tailgating space and game tickets for the season opener. Tailgating on Centennial Plaza will begin at 4 p.m.
