ATU Remains Top Regional Public University in State

U.S. News and World Report has named Arkansas Tech University the No. 1 regional public university in Arkansas for a third consecutive year.

ATU is listed in the publication’s 2023-24 rankings as the best regional public university in Arkansas for overall quality and No. 1 among all Arkansas regional public universities in providing upward social mobility to its graduates.

In addition, Arkansas Tech is ranked among the top 35 public universities in the southern United States for 2023-24.

U.S. News evaluated nearly 1,500 U.S. four-year, bachelor’s degree-granting institutions on as many as 19 measures for its 39th rankings edition.

Founded in 1909, Arkansas Tech serves 9,397 students through campuses in Russellville and Ozark. ATU conferred 4,066 degrees and credentials during the 2022-23 academic year, an increase of 10.6 percent as compared to two years earlier.
