The Arkansas Tech University Symphonic Wind Ensemble has earned the honor of performing at the 2018 College Band Directors National Association (CBDNA) Southwestern Division Conference in Houston, Texas.
Under the direction of Dr. Daniel A. Belongia, associate professor of music and director of bands at ATU, the Arkansas Tech Symphonic Wind Ensemble will perform at Moores Opera House in Houston at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 22.
The ATU Symphonic Wind Ensemble will offer three performances in preparation for CBDNA.
First will be a CBDNA send-off concert at Witherspoon Auditorium in Russellville on Sunday, March 18. It will begin at 2:30 p.m.
Bus tour stops at Fort Smith Northside High School (11 a.m.) and Allen High School in Texas (8 p.m.) on Tuesday, March 20, will provide the ATU Symphonic Wind Ensemble with two more rehearsals in preparation for the show in Houston.
