Six Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus students earned awards at Arkansas Licensed Practical Nurses Association (ALPNA) Spring Skills Competition in Hope in March.
“We are proud of all of our participants,” said Bruce Sikes, chancellor of ATU-Ozark. “Our commitment to provide career readiness is evident by the participation of faculty and students in this competition, and our ability to provide excellence shows with these honors.”
The following are the names of ALPNA winning students, listed with their program of study, competition category and place:

- Meagan Gooch Haller of Magazine, (PN), CPR-2 man team, second
- Jennifer Dorey of Pocola, Okla., (PN), CPR-2 man team, second
- Lacey Mann of Alma, (PN), pharmacology, second
- Marisa Felterman of Fort Smith, (PN), medical terminology, third
- Becky Barber of Alma, (PN), nutrition, third
