If inclement weather prevents Arkansas Tech University from beginning its spring 2024 semester with standard procedures on Tuesday, Jan. 16, classes and operations will transition to a virtual environment.
In preparation for this possibility, ATU faculty are asked to ensure that all Blackboard class shells are active for the beginning of the semester. Attendance will be taken through the Blackboard attendance module if a transition to virtual classes becomes necessary.
A final determination on whether ATU will begin the spring semester with standard or virtual classes and operations will be made and announced on Monday, Jan. 15.
Any information concerning a shift in plans due to inclement weather would be announced through ATU Alert text message, www.arkansastechnews.com, OneTech announcements, ATU social media presences and media outlets.
