ATU MARCOMM Earns National Awards

University Marketing and Communication (MARCOMM) at Arkansas Tech University has received seven national awards in the 32nd annual Educational Advertising Awards from Higher Education Marketing Report.

A T-shirt design for the ATU College of Business and a special campus map for Pokemon Go enthusiasts both won gold awards. MARCOMM collected a silver, a bronze and a merit award for T-shirt designs, a merit award for a happy birthday video shared with members of the university community and a merit award for a video revealing the ATU marching band’s new uniforms.

“These awards are indicative of how our MARCOMM team has embraced distributive leadership over the past several months,” said Dr. Jeff Mott, chief of staff in the Office of the President. “The culture within our marketing and communication office is focused on collaboration and innovation in support of the strategic plan of the university. I look forward to their continued growth as individuals and as a unit.”
