ATU Faculty Members to Speak on Female Leaders

Dr. David Cullen and Dr. Virginia Jones will continue the spring 2020 Arkansas Tech University Interdisciplinary Research Series on Wednesday, March 18, with dual presentations at Chambers Cafeteria West Dining Room.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. Admission will be free and open to the public.

Cullen, visiting lecturer of history at ATU, will offer a lecture entitled “Hattie Mae White: Educator and Activist.”

Jones, assistant professor of communication at ATU, will present a program entitled “Toward the 19th Amendment: Rhetoric, Myth and Elizabeth Cady Stanton.”

The program is part of ATU’s Women’s History Month observance. It is presented in collaboration with the ATU Department of History and Political Science.
