ATU Connects With Alumni Working at ANO

Arkansas Tech University hosted an alumni lunch reception entitled “ATU at ANO” at Arkansas Nuclear One on Wednesday, July 12.

Doug Pehrson, site vice president at Arkansas Nuclear One, welcomed representatives from the ATU Division of Advancement and the ATU Office of Alumni Relations. He noted that approximately 180 ATU alumni work at Arkansas Nuclear One and emphasized the need to maintain a strong relationship with Arkansas Tech and ATU alumni who wish to live and work in the Arkansas River Valley.

Jason Geiken, vice president for advancement at ATU, expressed gratitude to the Arkansas Tech alumni in attendance and encouraged them to be engaged with their alma mater, including service on ATU advisory boards and in the ATU alumni mentor program.
