Dr. Robin E. Bowen, Arkansas Tech University president, and Dr. Maria Markham, director of the Arkansas Division of Higher Education, participated in a halftime ceremony celebrating the positive influence of the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery at ATU during the Wonder Boys’ home football game on Saturday, Sept. 28.

They were joined during the ceremony by local and statewide elected officials as well as Dr. Ivy Pfeffer, deputy commissioner of the Arkansas Division of Elementary and Secondary Education.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery. Since its inception in 2009, the Arkansas Lottery has funded more than $98.2 million in scholarships for ATU students. That equates to more than 51,000 scholarships awarded.
