Arkansas Tech University is ranked among the top five NCAA Division II softball teams for a fifth consecutive week.
The Golden Suns (32-3 overall, 22-2 Great American Conference) are No. 5 in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association NCAA Division II top 25 released on Wednesday, March 30.
Arkansas Tech slipped one spot in the poll after going 3-1 last weekend against Southeastern Oklahoma State University. The Golden Suns have since swept a doubleheader from Harding University on Tuesday, giving them a five-game winning streak.
Arkansas Tech will visit the University of Arkansas-Monticello for a four-game GAC series on Saturday, April 2, and Sunday, April 3. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. both days. Live coverage will be available at www.arkansastechsports.com.
