The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center is offering a workshop for individuals interested in learning more about the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs.
“Introduction to SBIR/STTR” will be an interactive training workshop for high-tech entrepreneurs, university research and engineering majors. Anyone interested can register to attend.
The seminar will be Tuesday, March 13 from 1-3 p.m. at Rothwell Hall on the Arkansas Tech campus. The seminar is free but advance registration is required.
Participants will learn about requirements for the programs, which offer federal funding support for innovative research and development projects.
Additionally, methods for assessing qualifying technologies and research projects will be discussed.
The presenter is Rebecca Norman, an ASBTDC innovation consultant. She will guide the training session and provided individualized consulting sessions after the seminar.
