The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center will host a seminar later this month on professionalism in the workplace.
The workshop will focus on human resources management, and those in attendance will learn about several aspects of human resources including regulations, interviewing techniques, recruitment, documentation and performance appraisal.
The workshop is led by Tracey Cline-Pew and Connie Holstein and is taking place in Rothwell Hall Room 133 on the Arkansas Tech University campus.
The seminar runs from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, and a complimentary lunch will be provided.
Pre-registration and payment is necessary, and the deadline to pre-register is Friday, May 13. The cost to attend the session is $40 for the general public and $30 for those with an Arkansas Tech university identification card.
