ASBTDC Sets October 2022 Training Workshops

The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center regional office at Arkansas Tech University has announced training opportunities during October 2022.

The ASBTDC regional office at ATU is designed to assist new, existing, and expanding businesses by offering a variety of services including free one-to-one confidential consulting, free market research and low-cost or free training.

Creating a Business Plan for Success | Wednesday, Oct. 5
The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center regional office at ATU presents “Creating a Business Plan for Success” from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, at ATU in Russellville. Using the “To the Point” business plan outline, attendees will be shown how to put together a plan that will help define the details of their business and that can be presented to lenders and investors. Protect Your Small Business from Fraud | Thursday, Oct. 20
The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center regional office at ATU presents “Protect Your Small Business from Fraud” from 10-11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 20. Attendees will learn how to avoid fraud and protect their hard-earned money. On this webinar, a representative from Regions Bank will discuss the types of fraud, how to recognize the warning signs of fraud in a business and how to protect a business from fraud. Excellent customer service is a cost-free marketing technique and a way to set a business apart from its competitors. Learn how to exceed customer expectations, handle unhappy customers and create a culture of top-notch customer service.
