The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center regional office at Arkansas Tech University presents “SBA Loans: Making a Difference” from 9:30-11 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, at Arkansas Tech in Russellville. Because of reduced bank risk, Small Business Administration-backed loans allow lenders to provide financial opportunities not available under conventional loans. This can make a difference for small business owners who might not otherwise qualify for funding. SBA lender Itzel Meador will explain how SBA loans work and how they can make a difference for small businesses. There is no charge to attend due to a sponsorship from First Security Bank. Registration is required no later than Wednesday, March 29, at (479) 356-2067 or https://asbtdc.ecenterdirect.com/events/70371592.
