The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center is offering a training session to help area individuals and businesses learn the ins and outs of selling on eBay.
The ASBTDC will present a seminar called “The Basics of Selling on eBay.”
This seminar is suggested for people who want to start a home business, expand marketing and sales potential or sell extra inventory.
During the seminar, participants will learn how to list products, use payment systems such as PayPal and how to avoid getting ripped off.
Dr. Jim Walton is teaching the seminar, which will be Saturday, Feb. 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Rothwell Hall. To guarantee a reservation, pre-register by Monday, Feb. 6.
Walton is the only education specialist trained by eBay in Arkansas and one of only several with a Ph.D.
The session costs $90, and that includes lunch and a comprehensive workbook.
