The Arkansas Tech Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) has announced its training sessions being offered for October.
The regional office of ASBTD is housed at Arkansas Tech and is designed to assist new, existing, and expanding businesses by offering a variety of seminars.
The following seminars will be offered this month:
- Small Business Website Planning and Marketing-Tuesday, October 2, 2012 from 6-8 p.m., Arkansas Tech University Rothwell Hall Room 133; Cost is $30. Presented by Michael Stoker, Director of Web Strategies and Operations at Arkansas Tech University.
- Facebook Business Pages (Hands on)- Friday, October 5, 2012 from 1-4 p.m., Arvest Bank Fort Smith; Cost is $35. Presented by Ronda Hawkins,Training Coordinator for Arkansas Tech Small Business Technology Development Center.
- Starting a Business in Arkansas-Tuesday, October 16, 2012 from 1-4 p.m., Morrilton Chamber of Commerce; Cost is $30 ($20 for Chamber members, Free for Verterans). Presented by Nathan George, Center Director for Arkansas Tech Small Business and Technology Development Center.
- Free & Local: Small Business Marketing- Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 1-3 p.m. Clarksville Chamber of Commerce; Cost is $30 ($20 for Chamber members). Presented Presented by Ronda Hawkins, Training Coordinator for Arkansas Tech Small Business Technology Development Center.
- Introduction to QuickBooks (Hands on) – Thursday, October 25, 2012 from 1-4 p.m., Beall Barclay & Company Fort Smith; Cost is $65. Presented by Larissa Miller with Beall Barclay & Company, PLC.
- Intermediate QuickBooks (Hands on) – Tuesday, October 30, 2012 from 1-4 p.m. Arkansas Tech University Rothwell Hall Room 133; Cost is $65. Presented by Ronda Hawkins,Training Coordinator for Arkansas Tech Small Business Technology Development Center.
