ASBTDC Expands Staff

The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center housed on the Arkansas Tech University campus is expanding its staff.

Christina Williams of Russellville has recently joined the ASBTDC as an administrative assistant.  Officials say Williams will be overseeing daily operations of the ASBTDC and will allow other members to focus on meeting the needs of area small businesses.

Williams graduated from Arkansas Tech in 2010 with a Bachelor of Journalism degree. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Multi-Media Journalism at Tech and will graduate next spring.

The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center is a cooperative effort between the U.S. Small Business Administration, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and six other institutions of higher learning inside the state. The ASBTDC regional office at Arkansas Tech serves nine counties in west Arkansas: Conway, Crawford, Franklin, Johnson, Logan, Pope, Scott, Sebastian and Yell.
