ASBTDC Announces March Training Events

The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center regional office at Arkansas Tech University has announced training opportunities during March 2018.

The ATU ASBTDC regional office is designed to assist new, existing, and expanding businesses by offering a variety of services including free one-to-one confidential consulting, free market research and low cost or free training.

Make a Marketing Map for Your Business | Thursday, March 15
Make a Marketing Map for Your Business is from 10 a.m.-noon at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville. Learn how to target and reach more customers. At this interactive event, you will sketch out your Marketing Map, a quick-action plan for promoting your business. Learn how to assess, plan, and implement your own marketing strategy using this tool. There is no charge to attend, thanks to a co-sponsorship from Arvest Bank. QuickBooks Online for Beginners | Thursday, March 22
QuickBooks Online for Beginners is at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville from 9 a.m.-noon This workshop is designed for business owners and their employees with little or no experience using the cloud-based version of QuickBooks. Topics include navigation, setting up a company, transactions, reconciling accounts, and more. A computer with internet is provided during each interactive session. Cost per session is $65. Starting a Business in Arkansas | Tuesday, March 27
Starting a Business in Arkansas is from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville. This basic seminar discusses essential startup steps, legal business structures, regulations, licensing, key issues that affect your business success, and common pitfalls entrepreneurs face. A must for first-time small business owners! Cost to attend is $30, and veterans attend free.
