Local small businesses will be able to attend several hands on training sessions as part of the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) regional office at Arkansas Tech University.
During the month of June, four workshops are being offered on business operations.
Information on the workshops available:
- Is Franchise Ownership Right for You – Tuesday, June 14, 11 a.m. – noon at Arkansas Tech University. The webinar is free of charge.
- Starting a Business in Arkansas (presented in Spanish) – Tuesday, June 21, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Dardanelle Chamber of Commerce.
- QuickBooks for Beginners – Wednesday, June 29, 9 – 12:30 p.m. at Arkansas Tech University. Cost is $65.
- QuickBooks Day-to-Day Basics – Wednesday, June 29, 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. at Arkansas Tech University. Cost is $65.
The regional office of ASBTDC at Arkansas Tech is designed to assist new, existing and expanding businesses by offering a variety of services including consulting, training and market research.
Primary areas of assistance include planning, online and traditional marketing and financial analysis.
