Alumni from the Arkansas Tech University College of Arts and Humanities are invited to special events in conjunction with the Wonder Boys’ home football game on Saturday, Nov. 7.
The College of Arts and Humanities will host an open house at Norman Hall from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday. The building is located at 203 West Q Street in Russellville.
Attendees will have an opportunity to visit with their fellow alumni and tour the Department of Art facilities.
Party at the Plaza, the pre-game tailgating celebration outside Thone Stadium at Buerkle Field, is scheduled to begin at noon. Kickoff for the Great American Conference football game between Arkansas Tech (7-2) and Southwestern Oklahoma State University (6-3) is set for 2 p.m.
Game tickets, which are $10 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens, will be available at the stadium ticket office beginning at noon Saturday. Those with a valid Arkansas Tech identification card will be admitted free of charge.
The Arkansas Tech marching band, known far and wide as “Arkansas’ Band of Distinction,” will perform pre-game and halftime shows.
