The Arkansas Tech Museum will present the annual 2012 Art and Architecture: A Student Exhibition beginning this week.
This is the third annual competition, and it is a cooperative effort between the Department of Art and the Arkansas Tech Museum. Students entering the competition are enrolled in a watercolor class at Arkansas Tech, and they are asked to paint their depiction of a campus building.
Each year a historic building on the Arkansas Tech campus is the featured building in the exhibit, and this year the McEver Building will be the featured facility.
The winner of the exhibit will be announced on Wednesday, and the exhibit will open to the public beginning Thursday, March 15, from 4-6 p.m.
The exhibit will be on display through April 25. The Tech Museum is located in the Techionery (photographed.) Museum hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
