Arkansas Tech University is making it easier for prospective students to find out more about the university and the campus.
The Office of University Relations, in conjunction with the Office of Admissions, has launched a virtual tour of campus.
The tour consists of 12 short videos that highlight various aspects of campus. The customizable tour allows users to select portions that are of interest to them. The videos are linked together to allow a custom experience for each user.
In addition, the tour is offered in multiple formats for viewing on desktop computers, laptops, tablets and mobile devices.
Carrie Phillips, director of new media, developed the concept for the tour and believes it will assist students who want to learn more about Arkansas Tech University.
“Our research says our beautiful campus is one of our best assets. This tour showcases our campus and will help students to better understand what life would be like at Arkansas Tech,” said Phillips. “This tour will serve as an extension of getting students to campus and will offer an enhanced experience for those wanting to know about Arkansas Tech.”
Phillips says the Office of University Relations plans to add additional segments to the tour as the campus continues to grow.
