The Arkansas Tech University theatre program is busy preparing for “Candide” to premiere tomorrow.
Voltaire’s “Candide” is a musical that uses allegory to depict the changing lifestyle of a young man.
Here is a list of performances that will be held in Witherspoon Auditorium:
- Friday, Oct. 28 at 8 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 29 at 8 p.m.
- Sunday, Oct. 30 at 1 p.m.
- Thursday, Nov. 3 at 8 p.m.
- Friday, Nov. 4 at 8 p.m.
- Saturday, Nov. 5 at 8 p.m.
Contents of the play are comparable to a movie with a rating of PG-13.
Dr. Ardith Morris said she hopes the community will take advantage of the rare opportunity to see such a special performance.
General admission to the play is $8. Tickets are $5 for Arkansas Tech students and senior citizens. Tickets may be purchased at the door.
