One Arkansas Tech Residence Hall has been named the Residence Hall of the Year by the Southwest Association of College and University Residence Halls.
Arkansas Tech’s Nutt Hall was named the top residence hall last weekend at the SWACURH conference on the campus Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.
Nutt Hall competed against residence halls at nine other universities throughout Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana for the honor.
Members of the Arkansas Tech Office of Residential Life say the bid consisted of several accomplishments including placing in several homecoming competitions, winning Battle of the Halls and having the top residence hall program at Arkansas Tech.
