Arkansas Tech University is helping teachers learn more integrating science, technology, engineering and math content in their classrooms during several summer professional development opportunities.
The Arkansas Tech STEM Institute offers a variety of science, math and Project Lead the Way opportunities for teachers in the region looking to improve content creation and delivery in the classrooms.
During the training workshops, teachers receive instruction on how to include STEM fields in the classroom, and the teachers also participate in the hands-on activities they will later oversee.
Multiple workshops are planned throughout the summer to assist teachers.
