Arkansas Tech Prepares for Academic Year

Arkansas Tech University students, faculty and staff are making preparations for the start of the 2014-15 academic year. Tech President Dr. Robin E. Bowen will address university faculty during a general faculty meeting at 9 a.m. on Friday. Following the meeting, all university faculty and staff are invited to a luncheon at Chambers Cafeteria. In Russellville, new freshmen will move into the residence halls on Saturday and will participate in several days of orientation activities. Returning students will move into the residence halls on Monday. Students will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of campus events throughout Welcome Week. Both the Russellville and Ozark campuses of Arkansas Tech will begin fall classes on Wednesday. The 2014-15 academic year will mark the 105th academic session at Arkansas Tech University.
