Arkansas Tech University conferred 197 degrees upon students who completed their graduation requirements during the summer 2010 terms at a commencement ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 14, at Tucker Coliseum.
This was the second consecutive year in which Arkansas Tech hosted a summer commencement.
Dr. Robert C. Brown, Arkansas Tech president, presided over the ceremony.
Howard Ritchie, president of the Arkansas Tech Alumni Association, was on hand and welcomed the newest alumni of Arkansas Tech.
The ceremony included candidates from the College of Applied Sciences, the College of Arts and Humanities, the College of Business, the College of Education, the College of Natural and Health Sciences, the College of Professional Studies and Community Outreach, the Graduate College and those earning an associate’s degree.
