Arkansas Tech University announced on Tuesday, Sept. 13, that it has designated a third location on its Russellville campus as a free speech area.
Effective immediately, the newly constructed Hindsman Tower and the space within a 10-foot radius of the concrete pavilion is a designated free speech area for members of the Arkansas Tech community and the general public.
The Doc Bryan Student Services Building West Courtyard and the Doc Bryan Auditorium, which have previously been designated as free speech areas for demonstrations, debates, speeches and other forms of expression, will continue to serve as designated free speech areas.
