Area youth interested in perfecting their skills in cheerleading and dance are able to attend a clinic hosted by the Arkansas Tech Spirit Squads on Saturday, Feb. 8. The clinic is from 9:30 a.m.-noon in the Hull Physical Education Building. Children ages 5-12 are invited to attend. During the clinic, participants will learn a variety of cheer and dance skills, and they will also learn a routine utilizing those skills. Following the clinic, those attending will be able to perform at halftime of the Arkansas Tech women’s basketball game that afternoon at Tucker Coliseum. Tip-off for the basketball game is set for 2 p.m. Cost for the clinic is $25 per person, which includes a clinic T-shirt. Register to attend. Lean more about the Arkansas Tech spirit squads.
