Several camps are taking place this week at Arkansas Tech University for area individuals interested in learning more about athletics.
Camps taking place this week include the Little Wonders Baseball Camp and three specialty volleyball camps.
The Little Wonders Baseball Camp runs from June 4-7, and is open to students ages 7-12. Those attending the camp will work on baseball fundamentals in relation to hitting, fielding and throwing. Additionally, campers will have the opportunity to take part in several games at Tech Field. The Little Wonders camp costs $90.
Three specialty volleyball camps are also taking place beginning today. The volleyball camps run through Wednesday and are open to those in grades 7-12. Campers attending today’s camp will focus on serving. Tuesday’s camp will emphasize passing, and the camp on Wednesday will focus on attacking and setting. Each camp costs $25 to attend, and all three camps will run from 6-8 p.m.
