Students interested in hosting campus events, developing leadership skills, serving the community and networking with other Arkansas Tech students have an opportunity to be part of a distinguished organization on campus.
Applications are available for students wishing to be part of the 2012-2013 Presidential Leadership Cabinet (PLC).
Members of PLC work in cooperation with the Tech administration to promote the university to prospective and current students, alumni and friends. Additionally, the students serve as ushers at various university events and host several philanthropic events to benefit the community.
Students interested in applying should be enthusiastic, demonstrate strong communication skills and be reliable, dependable and creative. Members have an interest in students, alumni and public relations.
Applications are available in the Office of Student Services, at the Alumni House and online by visiting the PLC website. The deadline to apply is Thursday, March 15.
Students wishing to apply must be full-time students, have completed 12 hours at Tech and have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA. A selection committee will interview interested students who meet the required criteria.
