Arkansas Tech University will host the Miss Arkansas Tech University Scholarship Pageant on Friday, Feb. 19.
The annual pageant is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Witherspoon Auditorium, and all students meeting the eligibility requirements are invited to participate.
Students wishing to compete in the pageant, which is a preliminary to the Miss Arkansas pageant, have until Friday, Feb. 6 to register.
An information meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 19 at 8 p.m. in Room 121 of Dean Hall. During the meeting, those interested will receive competition advice, help with paperwork and hear from previous winners.
In addition to the crown, the new Miss Tech will receive a two-semester tuition scholarship at Arkansas Tech. In all, more than $24,000 in gifts and scholarships were awarded during the 2015 pageant.
The event is sponsored by the ladies of Delta Zeta.
