The Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Education Coalition is challenging student organizations to create the best “mocktail” at WonderWeek’s Vegas Night next Friday.
Interested organizations should choose a non-alcoholic drink and bring enough ingredients to the event to serve a sample of the drink to 100 people.
Ingredients should be unopened until set-up begins at 7:30 p.m. Each organization will have its own drink-making station.
Additionally, students should bring their own sample cups and use this is another way to get creative.
When the judges choose the best mocktail, the lucky winner will receive $200.
Organizations have until Thursday, Feb. 16 to submit their registration form to the Office of Student Services.
Vegas Night is scheduled to take place Friday, Feb. 17 from 8-10 p.m. in Doc’s Place.
The third annual WonderWeek will be held Monday, Feb. 13 through Saturday, Feb. 18 on the Arkansas Tech campus, and the series of events are designed to promote unity, diversity and campus involvement.
