Members of the Arkansas Tech family have a new opportunity to give back to Arkansas Tech. This summer members of the Arkansas Tech University Alumni Association will help greet incoming freshmen when they arrive on the Arkansas Tech campus.
Representatives from the Arkansas Tech Alumni Association will be on hand throughout the summer to welcome new students as they arrive at Rothwell Hall for advising sessions.
Advising sessions are taking place, and the Alumni Office hopes to have a representative present each day of advising.
Organizers say the alumni volunteers will assist with greeting the new students, answering questions about the River Valley area, and sharing their experiences at Arkansas Tech.
Shifts are available in half-day increments, and volunteers are able to work as many shifts as they like.
