The Arkansas Tech University Office of Alumni Relations and ATU Norman Career Services are partnering to provide a mentor program for ATU students.

ATU’s Alumni Mentor Program is open to all ATU students after completing their first semester. The program emphasizes global learning opportunities and intensified career preparation in developing mentees to become innovative leaders in their desired industry and thoughtful global citizens leading tomorrow’s economies.

Mentees are paired with an ATU alumni mentor in their intended career field and are required to participate in select Norman Career Services events throughout each semester they are enrolled in the program.

In addition, students will participate in specially-designed readings and discussions focused on shaping them into tomorrow’s industry leaders. These additional readings are organized by the Norman Career Services team. These readings and discussions cultivate emerging expertise amongst students and challenges them to better understand global issues related to their future industries and strengthen their critical thinking skills.

Students will meet once a month starting after their acceptance and will complete the program at time of their graduation.
