The Arkansas Tech Alumni Office is currently accepting applications for the 2012-2013 Alumni Association Scholarship. The scholarship, which is available to Ozark Campus students, too, will be awarded to entering freshmen who have at least one parent who has attended Arkansas Tech University.
Students who wish to apply for the scholarship must have a high school grade point average of 3.20, and they must have scored at least a 21 on the ACT. Additionally, students applying for the scholarship must submit a 1-3 page essay about why they decided to attend Arkansas Tech University or the Ozark Campus.
The number of scholarships awarded varies annually, but last year there were 11 scholarships awarded to entering freshmen. The scholarships are partially funded through the purchase and renewal of Arkansas Tech license plates.
Students wishing to apply must complete the application process, and application materials must be postmarked by Thursday, March 15. Applications are available in the Financial Aid office in the Student Services building.
