The Arkansas Tech Agriculture Department is preparing for the 30th annual poinsettia sale Nov. 29-30.
The plants will be sold at the farm greenhouse from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. An assortment of colors will be available. The colors range from red, white and pink to specialty poinsettias with glitter and in turquoise and other vibrant colors.
“The plant propagation class has been growing these since the beginning of the semester. This is a year-long project. Right now they are just showing color, but they are right where they need to be. They will definitely be ready in three weeks,” said Dr. Jim Collins, professor of horticulture.
