More than 60 members of the adjunct faculty at Arkansas Tech gathered at the Lake Point Conference Center Wednesday evening to prepare for the upcoming semester.
While at the conference center, the adjunct faculty members enjoyed dinner and met with various department heads to discuss the fall semester.
During their meeting, the adjunct faculty also selected four peers to serve on the Faculty Senate Ad Hoc Committee on Adjunct Support. The committee is designed to enhance the adjunct experience at Arkansas Tech.
The following individuals were selected to serve for the 2011-12 academic year:
- Susan Campbell-Business
- Mindy Hudson- English & World Languages
- Christine Kirkland- Biology
- Sarah Lawson- English & World Languages
