The program, which includes 182 color photographs from Ernst’s 40 years of wilderness travel, will begin at 7 p.m. at the Doc Bryan Student Services Center Lecture Hall, which is located at 1605 Coliseum Drive in Russellville.
Admission will be free and open to the public.
The Arkansas Tech Department of Parks, Recreation and Hospitality Administration, TAKAHIK River Valley Hikers and Monfee Medical Clinic are co-sponsors for the event.
Ernst’s photographs have been featured in such publications as National Geographic, the New York Times, Audubon and Outside.
Fifteen collections of his photographs have been published as coffee table books, including “A Rare Quality of Light,” which was published earlier this year.
Refreshments will be served and there will be a book signing during the event at Arkansas Tech on Dec. 1.
