
The best presentations from the 2026 Arkansas Tech University Scholars Symposium have been selected by judges and announced by the ATU Graduate College.
They include:
Graduate Presentations
First Place: Dustin Kohler of Union, Mo.
Second Place: Kai Scarangella of Leonia, N.J.
Third Place: Lilly Rogers of Russellville
Undergraduate Presentations
First Place: Torin Matthews of Bryant
Second Place: Joy Skaggs of Russellville and Hope Skinner of Sherwood
Third Place: Joy Skaggs of Russellville
Kimber Campbell of Mansfield received the 2026 ATU Scholars Symposium Committee Award of Distinction, while Mason Dillard of Conway earned the 2026 ATU Scholars Symposium Best Presentation Award.
“These presentations reflect the depth of inquiry and commitment to learning that define our students,” said Dr. Michael Bradley, dean of the ATU Graduate College. “They are engaging real questions and producing work that has meaning beyond the classroom, in our communities and the workforce.”
There were 23 platform presentations, 52 poster presentations and 17 virtual poster presentations during the 2026 ATU Scholars Symposium. The event took place Thursday, April 9, on the ATU campus in Russellville and the awards were announced at an end of year awards reception hosted by the ATU Graduate College.
