Author William Boyle to Speak at ATU October 2

William Boyle will be the fall 2025 speaker for the Arkansas Tech University Visiting Authors Series.

Boyle will speak at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, in Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center room 300B.

Admission will be free and open to the public. The program is hosted by the ATU Department of English and World Languages.

Boyle has written eight books, the most recent of which is “Saint of the Narrows Street.” Published by Soho Crime, Boyle’s latest offering is described by the publisher as a “thrilling south Brooklyn-set tragic opera of the highest caliber.”

A resident of Oxford, Miss., Boyle’s books have been nominated for the Hammett Prize, the John Creasey (New Blood) Dagger Award in the United Kingdom and the Grand Prix de Littérature Policière in France. They have been included on best-of lists in the Washington Post and CrimeReads.
