Tech Alumnus Performs Tonight on "The Voice"

Arkansas Tech University alumnus Cody Belew will continue his pursuit of winning a recording contract on the NBC television program “The Voice” when he performs live tonight (Wednesday, Nov. 7).

Arkansas Tech University alumnus Cody Belew will continue his pursuit of winning a recording contract on the NBC television program “The Voice” when he performs live tonight (Wednesday, Nov. 7).

The show will begin at 7 p.m. (Central Standard Time) and can be seen on NBC affiliates around the country, including KARK in Central Arkansas and KNWA in Northwest Arkansas.

Belew is among 20 individuals still in the running to win the fall 2012 season of “The Voice.” Ten acts performed on Monday night, and the remaining 10 acts will perform tonight.

The top 12 contestants, based upon votes from viewers, will be announced during a results show on Thursday, Nov. 8, and will remain in the competition.

A native of Beebe, Belew graduated from Arkansas Tech in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in music. He now resides in Nashville, Tenn.
