ATU Journal of Graduate Student Research to Debut

Tomlinson Hall
Tomlinson Hall is home to the offices for the Arkansas Tech University Graduate College.

Current Arkansas Tech University graduate students and individuals who have recently earned advanced degrees at ATU are invited to submit manuscripts, research posters and art for consideration of publication in the inaugural ATU Journal of Graduate Student Research.

The ATU Journal of Student Research is a bi-annual, online, open access, mentor and peer reviewed, multi-disciplinary journal created to showcase outstanding graduate student research at Arkansas Tech.

Eligible members of the ATU community may submit an original article to be considered for publication provided he or she owns the copyright to the work being submitted or is authorized by the copyright owner or owners to submit the article. Students who present at the ATU Graduate Research Symposium are required to submit their papers/posters for consideration.

Submitted articles cannot have been previously published, nor be forthcoming in an archival journal or book (print or electronic). Submissions must be accompanied by a letter of support/recommendation from a college professor/instructor.

At this time, the ATU Journal of Graduate Research only accepts original works in English and does not publish poetry or literary/book reviews. Art is accepted and will be featured in the gallery with one piece being selected by the editorial panel to be the cover art for the next journal publication.

The ATU Journal of Graduate Student Research has no general rules about the formatting of articles upon initial submission. There are, however, rules governing the formatting of the final submission.

Guidelines for the preparation of manuscripts are available at https://orc.library.atu.edu/atujgsr/styleguide.html.

Deadline to submit for the first edition of the journal is Thursday, March 31.

The submission portal and additional details are available at https://orc.library.atu.edu/atujgsr.
