Safety Seminar Set for Jan. 31 and Feb. 6

Members of the Arkansas Tech University community are invited to attend an upcoming informational session about civilian response to active shooter situations hosted by the ATU Department of Public Safety and the ATU Division of Student Services.

There will be two opportunities to attend the session, one on Tuesday, Jan. 31, and the other on Monday, Feb. 6. Both sessions will last from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the Doc Bryan Student Services Center Lecture Hall.

According to information provided by the ATU Department of Public Safety, the program will include information about the “psychology of disaster response, active shooter events by the numbers and what you should do if you find yourself in an active shooter event.”
