Arkansas Tech University is back in the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association NCAA Division II top 25 poll following a three-week absence.
The Golden Suns (7-1 overall, 3-1 Great American Conference) vaulted into the No. 17 position in the Tuesday, Dec. 13, edition of the poll on the strength of their 77-74 victory over then nationally 11th-ranked Drury University on Wednesday, Dec. 7.
It was the sixth consecutive victory for Arkansas Tech, which was ranked tied for 25th in the 2016-17 preseason WBCA NCAA Division II top 25.
The Golden Suns will be idle for the holidays until they host Southeastern Oklahoma State University for a 5:30 p.m. Great American Conference game at Tucker Coliseum on Thursday, Jan. 5.
