Incoming freshmen at Arkansas Tech University will have a chance to connect to the university by taking part in the annual GO BOLD Adventure camp.
Scheduled for August 2-5, the camp is designed to help students build friendships with other freshmen, meet upperclassmen and transition to college.
Over the course of the camp, students will also have the opportunity to learn about the university and its traditions.
Students will also participate in a teamwork activity of floating the Illinois River.
The camp will take place on the Arkansas Tech University campus and at Camp Heart O’ Hills in Welling, OK.
The cost to attend the camp is $135, and the cost covers all meals and program materials. Registration is limited to the first 50 students who enroll.
