Members of the Arkansas Tech University spirit squads will help area youngsters learn more about cheer and dance.
The Tech Spirit Squads will host a youth spirit day camp June 13-17. The camp will run from 8:30 a.m. – noon each day, and the camp is open to children ages 5-12.
During the camp, members of the Arkansas Tech Cheerleaders and the Arkansas Tech Golden Girls will teach cheer and dance skills and performance routines to all participants.
At the conclusion of the camp, the participants will showcase what they have learned in a pep rally performance for friends and family.
The cost to attend the day camp is $75 per child, and the registration fee includes a t-shirt and a pair of pom poms.
